Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
